When Your in a Mood

When Your in a Mood

A Poem by LeslieNoel
"

I hate when I argue with my husband and this is how I feel after we do so

"
When you're in a mood
You have an attitude
And can be incredibly rude
It leaves things confused
Why does it lead to such a feud?
Where words come across as crude
Both of our feelings are blackened and blued
And often our view points are misconstrued
Being nasty is not how we wish to be viewed
Yet out the insults are thoughtlessly spewed
It is best to separate and to sit and stew
Than to rip into a loved one
For only then the relationship has been slued

This is good advice. Only one thing "your" should be "you're" (you are).
"Crude" might be better than "lewd" as lewd can be good when applied to consenting adults. And it fits the rhyming scheme.
How in the world did you find "slued"? I had to look it up!
Again, good marital advice. It's easy to let it fly when you're fighting with one you love, but, it involves trust that disagreements don't automatically lead to separation and that arguing is safe.
I enjoyed this, and I'll be reading more of your work.
