Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by LeslieNoel
"

I really stink at waiting for things in life especially when they are life altering events. I was recently waiting for a very special event and wrote this to help me cope.

"

Waiting

Waiting can be an abyss
Filled with a swirling, twirling
Endless tunnel
Creating a kaleidoscope affect
Of confusing and frustrating
Thoughts
Emotions
I feel like I'm locked
In the fabric of time
Enveloped in this frustration of mine
Waiting for this cycle to break
I hope it does soon
For my own sake

Did you mean for there to be only one comma so that it gives this effect of how you feel when your waiting? I think so! Your Rhyme and meter are really good, and the line that sticks out to me is Enveloped in this frustration of mine

I'm waiting right now for my wife to get back from the airport, and so I totally know how you feel.

Thank you for your kind comments. Yup, there was only supposed to be one comma.
I don't know what this cycle is but it sounds like a frustrating one
