I found this yesterday, I wrote it years ago then threw it in a corner. It is supposed to be read in both directions

very clever...and reads well both ways...reminds me once of a Peanuts strip....Linus asked Lucy how many stars she could see when she looked up into the sky----her reply was "all of them."
i wonder how high the highest is.

i like the reverse rendition the better of the two ...i did not know of Aton .. so thank you for that! always nice to add another Egyptian god to me noodle ;) i think the questioning works .. definitely draws me in .. and i have never looked at the stars thinking there was only one ... so a unique perspective ... i am up early with my dogs ... one usually around 1 AM and the other around 3 AM ... i am up anyway so it is a routine i enjoy as the night sky in the Ozarks of Arkansas is much of the time very clear and many times very bright ... so i look for the stars and constellations that i know ..odd that this morning i thought that i need to look for others ... ;)

Read either way it was timely for me having almost finished Dan Brown's 'Origin'. Both made me think about the meaning of humanity, where we came from, where we are going and the human need to worship gods in order to fill the gaps in our knowledge. As always poetry to make you think Leslie.
