Tower of the Blue Horses ( after Franz Marc)

Tower of the Blue Horses ( after Franz Marc)

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

a poem about a picture, and a painter

"
Four of stained glass and stars
all leftglance beyond ratio or air,
thin as tissue but strong

as a pastel visa; fated curves
guide your hand, voices drag you
into mud and steal the day.

"thin as tissue but strong

as a pastel visa"

I had to Google him Leslie but how exceptionally well you express his art and his death in a wonderful piece of art of your own!

But you are a master of epigrammatic poetry Leslie. Sometimes art is hard and painful?
