Kalthaus

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

as it is

"
open door; icewall
           crusted as a rabid eye
           all the change of skin in frost
           a bedouin of snow
consider the end;
           white room; stiff starch
           the soft slide of slippers
           along linoleum
winter`s partner; a slower cold

Excellent. I love the way you take thoughts and turn them around using such wonderful words in to the brushstrokes of Art.
Love the description of a snow drift.

i like how wintery atmospheres are not limited to objects of nature, and are extended to the insides of manmade houses

This is a ry chilling poem. It is very cold. As winter is cold and the end of our lives is cold. This is a fantastic write.

This is very cold and stark. I sensed a menace here. something colder and darker, perhaps a waiting death or something just as bad. Impressive poem.

We are really getting that slower cold today. Snow falling hard along with the temperature. The ice wall line made me think of the news yesterday when a woman opened her door and there was snow clear to the top of the door jam. Then of course is the catching a cold and sneezes. Valentine
