A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

I wrote this in two minutes, it`s about the fear I often felt growing up in London

"
The beer cans are almost esoteric
Banging down the trash shaft;

As shoes slide over dog´s pavements,
Tunnels clatter with steel caps

And piss; an estate with no state,
Just a simian face against a

Growler, maybe I`m sorry for the sorry,
But my stomach hops with Angst.

Very intriguing write. The fear was ever present in your words. I do wonder what it is that you were afraid of. I got the image of hobos....:P Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

A powerfully emotional poem. The fear and desperation come through your words.

Another mesmeric write Leslie. So full of pathos in a few descriptive lines. I felt the same in Glasgow and can relate so well to this!
