The Soul

The Soul

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

dedicated to all the talented girls and women who write here

"
she looked puzzled
and laid her book
between
the tea cups

and asked me
if the soul was
a woman
and I said
it is now.

and there are so many...they certainly outnumber us...by a long shot.

this poem has atmosphere, creates a feeling of that we absolutely could not live without women...

they are the soul of life, the soul of us.

lots going on between those tea cups.
