Southeast Nineteen

Southeast Nineteen

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

I don`t worry too much about getting reviews..for me the creative process is more important than what happens after..

"
And this is what I need
When a statue drops
And flings porcelain
Between my shoes.
Then comfort draws me
Back home
Down the street
Where I was made.
This is my special tragedy
The way the stars don`t move
In the night externa
They are over my house
Because they are.

An insightful piece, with your own unique twist. A wonderful spot of imagery and metaphor.

Things are what they are, at times, acceptance...a brilliant piece of metaphor, truly magnificent! x

I agree with you about the creative process being so much more satisfying.

This is my special tragedy
The way the stars don`t move
In the night externa
They are over my house
because they are."

Stars don't move...It's destiny and my lot...A very deep and thoughtful write.
