Putting so few well chosen words together in juxtaposition to convey glimpses into a world of wonder is a great gift. Well done Leslie. I think you have made a few of us despair.
Cheers.

Leslie Philibert,
"Baby"The title is precious of course and the note is helpful,"A real one; real baby... Every human has to begin and is so new. You have given this reality in strong nuance. With feelings like-
"Locked heart, webbed..half fish, netted bird, swan and wings, brewed tears, unfinished, Ready to shattter the cage, shout locked in a box." These all are so full of potential and a forceful verb speaking coming life. I love the ending with "The first chapter, a story full of air." In these words I can just see the full story of life now entering the stage with joy! Just a beautiful poem! Blessings to you. Kathy
I have to say Leslie this one leaves me wondering and trying to piece together the fragments which you have so eloquently sown into the page. Such lines seem to hang on their own merit in the air like magical steps.
