Inschallah

Inschallah

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

a poem about the victims of the NSU in Germany

"
Thrown is earth;
weightless through an open palm,
petals mixed with shouts,
a door closed; the sky locked down

You grew from inside;
walkers from a far rock.

You do not fear the eyeless.

The way is a river of courage,
dark eyed for a single- voiced lament.

Your names are soaked with honour,
the holy deluge of humanity.

This is very nice, very powerful. Your words and images here bring the situation to life for the reader. Very creative indeed.

This is great... I really was moved by the line, "weightless through an open palm." It's remarkable how much better we feel when we figure out how to release control... Simply great as usual...

Murder is the ash of humanity not the collateral residue of it. You can be so right wing you step off the
earth but you cant kill your way into the minds of reasonable people. This is a new twist from you
sir, a poem of protest...well written.

The continuous facility of humanity to subjugate, humiliate and annihilate whole races and faiths is our species` worst crime against itself. You poem has great power, Les. P.
