Winter - Four Pictures

Winter - Four Pictures

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

things that I see

"
A crow motionless in a field of snow ;
burnt paper in the wet morning ash.
The dead locked into the frozen earth ;
leaves blacken under a hidden moon.
The trees abstract with frost ;
weighed and bending with ice.
A sun weak and blinded from rain ;
glass under the hand of sleet.

I loved every frozen ounce of this! It humbles any lingering inability to appreciate the morose nature of winter, history and self-reflection, rendering the awareness incapable of looking away and going through the stages of catatonia and understanding, like being b***h slapped out of an insane frenzy you didn't realize you were even in. good times!

I love your snapshot images here, random yet loosely connected. This has a very atmospheric feel.
