Tempus Theatricum

Tempus Theatricum

A Poem by FemmedPlume

Curled up lip and clacking tongue
Dressed up pressed up desperate bones
When all else crumbled 'neath her toes
This was solid ground

Wounded pride masks wounded heart
Time passed and now has passed the part
No longer can she clearly chart
These boards she walked alone

Lights upon the wicked stage
Hide cracks, until they flick and fade
And she is left without a page
Outside of the curtains.
