~ Mirth & Misery ~

~ Mirth & Misery ~

A Poem by Misery

Dear dreams of you in fields of fern

Where passions shy do softly yearn

To touch a muse who touches me

With sounds of mirth and misery

To feel the muse in morning field

And there let hearts’ desires yield

To reach beyond her silk caress

And share with her a nakedness

That sees beyond our human skin

To see our truths kept safe within.
