~ What Song ~

~ What Song ~

A Poem by Misery

What song dost thou sing

Little bird of autumn gold?

What tune so sweetly heard

Has joy conjured in thy soul?

Do sing a song of sevenpence

And add twopence for me,

I’ll sing a dirge of seven woes

And add one woe for thee.
