~ Princess Bride ~

~ Princess Bride ~

A Poem by Misery

Your poet tried

Dear princess bride

To gallant ride

Where truths abide

Yet...

My foot did slip

My soul did slide

Forsooth, for shame

For naked pride;

Your bard did fail

Dear nightingale

While villains rail

While hordes assail

And...

Our castles fall

While brigands scale

Once mighty heights

Of fabled tale.

definitely wants me to read you more for sure...
I've got a Princess Bride reference in my Risen in Your Speech piece...
i really enjoyed the flow, the mystery and hints of what you are getting at here
just enough to relate to ourselves... i'll be by again

Thank you. Much pain in the poetic tumble of thoughts...sometimes.
