Depression

Depression

A Poem by Leonhart Reed
"

Just put yourself in The life of a person where nothing seems to go right.

"
Skating, raving, wretched pain! It boils to anger and turns to rage. A hated page in the book of life with debt, loss and a lack a light. “The course of might, take hark to the strong!” Words shouted during a Victor’s song.

But no, they’re wrong! I feel no strength. I do not feel the respite of a drink. I feel the sorrow of an ending fire; a violent squall of dark desires. I am a pit filled with hate aimed at the failures I’ve made as of late.

So, how do I sate this awful weight? It twist my mind and makes me slate the happy; the love; the wonderful ways that I would spend my early days.

Let me know what you think. This is from my mind, and almost every day I have to deal with the battle like this.
