FamiliarA Poem by Leonard Bircha very short poem that came to me after the loss of a loved one. the poem and incident have no relation, but i think that its interesting what tactics the mind will deploy in order to cope with loss.
lately everything seems all familiar.
like i got no control of substance. my mind and eyes are in on this conspiracy. my hands and feet are no help either. the heart and soul just stay the same, independent from the main structure. i know not where they all will lead. i wish i could just stop to breathe, but i just go on and make an a*s of myself. in the end i'll just blame some one else. © 2012 Leonard Birch |
