Bags checked
At the door
I stand hesitatingly
Pondering
What lies beyond

 

Emotions checked
At the door
Where I stand
Screaming
For what lies within

 

A life checked
At a door
Of many to come
Each unique
Each intertwined

 

Choices made
Good, Bad
Trivial, Monumental
At a door
Opened by me
