That mind of mine

That mind of mine

A Poem by Leon Gipson
"

playing wih my mind

"

My oh, my

Time it does fly

Where did it go?

Why was it so long?

I say hello, not good-bye.

A slight of hand, maybe?

Nature’s ultimate trickery

Muddling thoughts,

Intensity waning.

Not from across this sea!

Every day, I pray

For something to say

To you for a smile

A heart to warm

Every day, I stand in clay.

I say hello, not good-bye

Words of hope and joy

To see, to hear,

You my friend.

Oh my, oh my!
