Miracles

Miracles

A Story by Leo Allen

I never believed in miracles. There is suffering in the world, and I have experienced it. So much internal hurt I would surely die of a broken heart. She came to me like day meeting the night; inevitably so. She mends my threadbare and troubled mind. She is gentle and she is pure. What I have done to deserve this second chance at happiness, I will never know. Until now I never believed in godsends. Until now I never believed in miracles.
