After the nightfall

After the nightfall

A Poem by Lena

And what’s the difference?
I say all my friends that I don’t really care and that you’re just dumb.
I mean you are, right?
When I’m going home I blure those thoughts away so they wouldnt bother,
I’m in such a rush but it somehow keeps you away from my head.
But when the nightfalls comes- That’s where it takes a turn.
I can’t find any escape from you, from all the things you said and did,
I just sit there remembering every single thing and suddenly my eyes start to water.
Why? I don’t care, right?
And with every tear streaming down I say I don’t care.
‚I don’ care, I don’t care, I don’t care’
and somehow in the process this sentence lose its meaning.
Because the nightfall shows it all,
I’m glad that’s where I’m alone,
Cause if anyone saw me in the state I’m there they’d fall apart too.
I know I care, but somehow I don’t,
I don’t think it makes much sense?
Oh it’s time to end the loop,
The nightfall comes to an end.
See you after the sun goes down again my dear.
