Love Is Merely A Decision

Love is merely a decision. Its a path that we choose to follow and the river we choose to sink in.

True love is pain and pleasure,
what you always treasure,
will make the heart insecure at any  measure.
love is merely a decision,
a choice, and a path that with precision,
you subject yourself to unflinching commitment;
hoping it will be forever,
and trusting that it will make you feel whole,
in this darkened world full of deceitful souls.

There is a path that we always choose to fully enjoy the greatness of others, with an unflinching commitment and most certainly, tends to drive us mad- so people say.
We submerge ourselves into a cloud of unknowingness which in turn we try to give it meaning. We give to the moments that tend to be sparked by our revolutionary need and desire. We let it rise from beneath, and when it has set its eyes on the 'prey' we forever want to hold that grip, and never let go. We sacrifice and let go of what we think should be abandoned, and open our arms wide enough to welcome what we truly treasure, because we want to. Because its a path that we choose to go through, even if it is filed with thorns and hungry wolves. We still choose to hold on to, because we believe its worth it.
