Hell is you

Hell is you

A Poem by Ina Waltz

I loved myself
with utter, profound hatred
I carried myself
while tying stones to my ankles
I sang the songs
and swallowed acid poems

I flew above all of you
and still remained in hell

Not bad. You have some very good imagery here and I think the brevity of this really works for you. I don't really like the last couplet - it doesn't feel like it fits with the first stanza very well, but that's up to you. Well done.
