Let me love

Let me love

A Poem by Leigh

Let me love...
So that my hope in the prevailing heart will not whither.

Let not my aged cynicism destroy the innocence that has come with the experience of young turbulent love.
Of such raw unbridled foolish passion, that all rhetoric of logic is abandoned in impulsive action.

Let me want for running away and escaping the mundane.
Let me want for the stars, so that in their counting I may know your mind and hear your story.

Let me dive into languish kisses...like an ocean, with lips that hide only secrets for me to discover.

Of ruffled blankets on a Sunday morning...
Of hands interlocked with palms tenderly kissing, and fingers intertwined like long lost lovers.

Knot my stomach and steal my breath when you enter...
goose flesh when we touch.

Let all hurt dissipate and checkered history blur in the presence of our union.
Let our love be the light in our darkest days.

And If I lose myself, let me be lost in all that is you.
Let me love...and may I let you love me too.

i really liked it! Very well written! Normally not a big fan or repetition but you used it properly so I didnt find it annoying. I suggest using some more punctuation but thats up to you. Other than that i loved it! Well written! Very good read I would suggest others to read this as well. Also very nice job on not making it cliche.
