🟦🟦🟩🟩🟪🟪🟧🟩🟧🟨🟨
Fire lights the darkened sky Dimming the pattern of stars And nature is so quiet now As embers float into branches In this beautifully free place We will soon make so ugly Crowns of trees make a curve That reflects in the lake Giving perfect symmetry The shape of a woman She is lying on her side Her eyes laughing at us 🟧🟧🟧⬛️⬜️⬜️🟩🟦🟪🟪🟩 In the coming light of day Snowy mountains look down With their circling eagle eyes In this huge new country Of great continental size Unforgiving and wild Rivers too wide to cross Announce themselves With crashing waterfalls Barring our journey west Making us prey to the wild In the adventure of this land 🟨🟧🟩🟦🟪🟦🟩🟩🟩 © 2021 LeighReviews
