Blurry

Blurry

A Poem by Christina
"

A poem about memories.

"
A photograph
Lies on the bottom of a stream,
The serenity of a quiet gurgling,
Nostalgia seeping into my ears,
Thickly coating the wrinkles
Of my brain
Like molasses,
Gradually filling my body,
Warm and sickeningly sweet,
Through delicate ripples
I catch blurry glimpses
Of my life.

Beautifully written, I think Photographs are the thing I can write endlessly because they are the only thing that captures the moment as it is...

Yes, I get those blurry images too, as if dream like, indistinct and from a previous you. perfectly captured. Thank you for sharing.
