Recorded History: Artemis grew up an only child in a very well-to-do lifestyle with his father, Brisco, having been a highly decorated military officer who died shortly after he graduated from the Academy, and his mother, Maxine Hammer, a highly decorated Police detective who was killed in the line of duty shortly after Artemis’s 17th birthday. The death of Maxine set Brisco on a self-destructive path leading him to take the law into his own hands.

Maxine had been Investigating a ring of illegal arms dealers who, because of several dirty cops, learned of her undercover operation. Brisco brought all the technology and firepower he could muster to bear to reign Hell upon her killers and the dirty cops that leaked her cover. Systematically he destroyed each and every individual involved, in the end turning himself in once, “Justice was done.” Brisco’s sentence was in fact conditionally commuted due to the nature of the crimes committed by those he slew, as well as the fact officers were involved. Brisco produced proof of the involvement of every single one of the people he slew. 29 criminals and officers total.

Brisco’s sentence was conditionally commuted in that his information concerning the officers involved was never made public. San Antonio VII, the city where Artemis and his family spent their lives, was a veritable powder keg of unrest. The streets had become a war zone. Liberal politician’s constantly making the job of law enforcement systematically more difficult for the Police Force to actually do their jobs, through tighter and tighter restrictions on their actions and constant financial cutbacks. To reveal the presence of dirty cops was feared to be the spark to ignite a war within the city. Brisco accepted the terms and turned over every scrap of data he had concerning the case. He was however forced to resign his position in the military, something which never sat well with the military itself.

By the time Artemis was ready to graduate he was already offered specialised training in both the Military and Police forces. In honor of both his mother and father, the sacrifices both had made, Artemis accepted the offers of both. Over the next 4 years Artemis became trained in the highest of military standards as well as every spec op and police related skill. It was speculated his genetics enabled him to take in whatever the military threw at him. At 21 Artemis joined the Special Unit of San Antonio VII Police. It was clear he had become probably the singular most dangerous man alive through the training that he was never to speak of. He was trained to push harder and longer in every physical endeavor. His strength was unmatched. His speed and dexterity rivaled any gymnast. He retained details to photo accuracy of crime scenes merely passing through that other detectives might miss on close examination. On more than one occasion he identified fingerprints from memory.

He was part of a team consisting of only two other officers, Clifford Winch and Nat Moody, similarly trained but not quite to Artemis’s degree, which is not to say they didn’t try to compete, because the trio acted more as brothers than simply co-workers. They were called in when other methods would fail. Their orders came from one person, their handler, Felicia Payne. It was several years before the team even met Felicia. Her contact would be telecom messaging only. The team was contacted by Major Antoli Dantt, second in command of the special forces unit which spearheaded the training of the spec ops team known as Tri-Force, the team of Artemis, Nat, and Clifford. Major Dantt contacted Tri-Force because the command center for their operations had been decimated by a group of terrorists who discovered the nature of the Tri-Force command center. Instantly the team sprang into action. Within an hour 19 of the terrorists were dead with only three or four remaining depending on reports.

They were holed up in the actual com center making demands that they be allowed to leave or their hostages died. Knowing the terrorists were fully prepared to make good on their threats, the team regrouped for a moment to formulate a strategy. Knowing they couldn't possibly have every single detail of the team’s expertise, a plan was devised that Artemis would punch his way through the steel doors as a shock tactic while Clifford and Nat would rappel from the roof and take out the terrorists. Once everyone was in place,  Artemis began hammering on the door. His first strike nearly took the door off it’s hinges, shots were fired at the door, just as Artemis anticipated. What he did not anticipate was that the rounds fired at the door tore right through them metal and penetrated his body armor as though he wasn’t wearing any. The body armor his team was wearing was of the highest classified order, there was no way these terrorists could have prepared for this unless… Suddenly Artemis heard two more shots followed by shattering glass and the sounds of Clifford and Nat falling to their deaths. Mustering his fleeting strength from blood loss Artemis slammed through the door to protect the hostages… Unerringly he killed two of the three terrorists with dead perfect headshots as he fell through the doorway. The third terrorist immediately grabbed Felicia and used her as a human shield. As Artemis struggled to stand, the third terrorist started shouting in his native tongue which Artemis discerned as arabic but he could not understand the dialect. Felicia begged for her life as the terrorist roughly jammed his pistol against her head. Artemis could make out the terrorist screaming, “he wanted freedom… he was just following orders” Artemis noticed that the terrorist was actually shoving the gun against Felicia’s head hard enough that she was bleeding. She was the only hostage left. The only one Artemis could possibly save… He couldn’t allow another person to die. He had to stop this terrorist, but he needed him alive. There were so many questions the Police would need answered.

Artemis held his hands out and dropped his pistols, placing his hands behind his head. Felicia cried out in terror, “He’s going to kill us all…”The terrorist roughly slapped Felicia with his gun hand and she crumbled to the floor, Artemis quickly without even preparing for the throw unsheathed his neural knife from between his shoulders and had impaled the terrorist through his forehead with enough force as to literally stick him to the wall behind him. The terrorist muttered the word, “betrayal” in his native tongue before he expired.

Felicia crawled to Artemis as he announced the all clear to his superiors. Within seconds a medical team was taking Artemis to San Antonio Medical Center along with Felicia who clung to her savior. Not only had the terrorists weapons penetrated his armor, they went clean through him and out through his armor. The specialists assigned to investigating the attack were completely unaware of any type of projectile capable of doing that. The same ammunition was used on Nat and Clifford. It was a miracle he survived. Even more miraculous was the fact he checked himself out of the hospital the next day. Felicia proved to be quite smitten by her rescuer and they immediately formed a relationship, eventually leading to their getting married.

Artemis never stopped trying to track down the terrorists responsible for the attack and death of his two brothers-at-arms. Felicia did her best to investigate the case as well but she didn’t have the clearance Artemis had often reminding him how helpless she felt because of her hands being tied. Artemis went so far as to try to have Felicia’s clearance privileges increased, and finally succeeded. As he returned home to let her know he had pulled some strings, he noticed a rather shady looking individual leaving their apartment building. He followed the man to find out he had ties to a terrorist cell in the area. His apartment was being watched… that’s how they knew what they did.

Artemis quickly returned home to gather Felicia and warn her of the danger. Upon entering his apartment he discovered blood everywhere. Felicia had been murdered… but that was not the worst discovery Artemis made… on the wall “betrayer” had been scrawled in her blood numerous times. Scattered about the room were a number of files and scattered documents, pertaining to the Tri-Force team. Load out documents, armaments, specs, armor specs, everything… right down to their tactical manuals. Looking them over Artemis discovered the only fingerprints on any of the documents were in fact Felicia’s… she was the leak all along. She wanted higher clearance not to help but to gain ALL access to every detail of the Tri-Force operation, and Artemis almost handed that very thing to her.

From that day forward, Artemis refused to ever allow anyone to get close to him again and never allowed a partner to be assigned to him no matter who they were. Artemis closed himself off from the world. Police work was no longer a job… it became his life.

Artemis worked his way up through the ranks of the police force quickly. But due to a number of issues concerning Artemis using “excessive force” as determined by the bleeding heart attorneys of the garbage he was cleaning off the streets, Artemis constantly found himself under Disciplinary actions which led to his fall from Chief Inspector to regular Inspector. The ‘demotion’ didn’t really matter to Artemis. In the lower constraints of the position he found he was able to be more… flexible with the laws and regulations.

It was in the 15th year of his service on the force that Artemis earned the nickname “BlackJack”. Many assumed it was due to the fact that he had graduated from special Ops at the age of twenty-one, that wasn’t even close to the truth. Artemis actually managed to apprehend twenty-one armed criminals alone on a single mission investigating illegal arms dealing. Of the twenty-one, in a bizarre twist of fate, every single one of them managed to stand trial. His marksman skills allowed him to merely incapacitated twenty-one armed killers in a full on firefight in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. The clean up crew that he called in after the dust settled could  barely understand how he was able to see anything in the dark dusty confines of the warehouse, much less take down that many opponents without use of lethal force.

But still, the memories of his family and even of his wife’s betrayal haunted him every time he closed his eyes. His brothers Clifford and Nat dying because they were betrayed by the only person they placed their trust in. It would be a mighty cold day in hell before Artemis would accept a partner…

“Now listen, you thick headed son of a b***h,” screamed the police chief, spitting on Artemis, “I don’t give two s***s what your personal feelings are on this. The goddamn mayor says it’s mandatory… It’s f*****g mandatory… you got me? I’m sick of this lone wolf bullshit from you. You’re a goddamn good cop but everybody needs backup… you got it?”

Artemis wiped his face off for the third time in the passed ten minutes, “Nope… if the mayor wants a partner, then let him have the f*****g thing.. I don’t need a partner, I don’t want a partner… and if you assign me one I’m just going to ditch them anyway. You tried this s**t before.” Artemis was pretty sure the chief’s head was about to explode. Was it possible to have blood pressure higher than 1000? Because Artemis was pretty sure Chief Barlow was pretty close.

Chief Barlow slammed his fist on his desk, and paused a moment. Apparently the rush of blood away from his brain made him a bit dizzy as he collapsed into his chair, munching antacids like candies. “You’re going to give me a stroke… You’d like that wouldn‘t you? Constantly with this bullshit, Artemis… I promised your old man… god rest his soul, I’d keep an eye on you and this is the f*****g thanks I get…”

“Oh, not the old man bullshit again… even he’s getting tired of hearing that one and he’s dead… what twenty years now?” Artemis huffed. The chief seemed to be pacing in his mind as he opened his drawer to his desk. “Fine… give me your hand…” the chief muttered, “I have something for you.” Artemis eyed the chief with uncertainty. “Don’t worry, tough guy… it won’t hurt, I pwomise,” the chief mocked Artemis. Artemis held his hand out to the Chief and quick as lightning the chief slapped a bracelet around his wrist and held onto it for several seconds while it buzzed and beeped and finally five metal pins latched into Artemis’s wrist, rather painfully.

Through sheer strength, Artemis dragged the chief across the desk, “Ow… you son of a b***h.. That f*****g hurt.” “I lied…’ retorted the Chief as he dangled about a foot off the floor hanging on to Artemis’s wrist. Eventually the chief let go and plopped to the floor. “What the hell did you do?” Artemis snarled at the chief. “Well, that there is a tracking bracelet. Trust me for once, you do NOT want to try to remove it. Any attempt to do so will set off the electrical charge.” the chief sheepishly replied as he scurried back behind his desk.

“You f*****g CON tagged me? What the hell for?” Artemis was infuriated. The bracelet was actually identical to the bracelets placed on paroled inmates. Artemis knew at that moment the chief had gone to the full extent of his patience with Artemis. “Hey… come on. Is this really necessary?” Artemis tried to soften his tone in an attempt to get the chief to take the cuff off. “Yes, Arty, I’m afraid it is,” the chief apologized, “Trust me, I did not want to do this, but I was ordered to get you a partner and this guarantees you can’t ditch them like you have in the past. You see, they have an identical cuff. And there’s nowhere you can go that they won’t know.”

Artemis was stunned that the chief would go this far to carry out an order. “Wow… I really pissed someone off, didn’t I?” “No, Arty, it’s the mayor… he is demanding every officer be assigned a partner. The s**t is getting way out of hand in this city. Everyone knows you’re the best goddamn cop this city has ever seen… hell probably in the world, but everyone has their limits,” Chief Barlow replied in an almost fatherly tone. “Listen, kid, it’s for your own good.” Artemis sat down for the first time since he was called into the office. With a sigh he kicked back into the seat laying his head over the back of the chair like a dejected teenager. “So… you mean to tell me some poor son of a b***h actually volunteered to be forced into being my partner?” Artemis questioned his head swimming from hanging his head upside down over the chair. He half smiled at the feeling. “Not quite,” the chief replied. He tapped on his intercom, “Officer Chase, could you come in please.”

Artemis was giggling to himself as the door opened and he spied the figure of an extremely gorgeous woman entering the office in a skin tight suit of body armor that appeared to rival his own. Artemis nearly tripped over the chair as he spun to stand. THAT rush of blood really knocked him silly. It took a moment to steady himself as the chief giggled, Officer Chase smiling politely. “Artemis, I’d like to introduce you to Officer Chase, your new partner,” the chief announced, “Officer chase, this is Artemis Corbyn, your liaison to the Police Force. Please acknowledge acceptance of this assignment, Officer Chase.” The woman in question glanced at Artemis before responding to the Chief, “Assignment acknowledged, Sir.” Came the rather monotone reply though Officer Chase did smile if only a little giving off the impression of forced civility but if it was the Chief or Artemis was anyones guess. Chase offered her hand to Artemis her grip firm as they shook “A pleasure to meet you Inspector. You have quite the service record. I look forward to seeing you in action. I might learn a lot from you.” Chase smiled brightly though there was a slight challenge in her eyes as if she was teasing him,

The Chief coughed to gain the pair’s focus again. “Since this is Officer’s Chase first time in this station. Perhaps a tour is in order?” He suggested. Opening the door for Chase as she walked on ahead. Catching exactly where Artemis’s eyes had been, silently raising an eyebrow in question, a small smirk on his lips.

As the trio made their way through the crowded booking room, pretty much every eye on the place was on officer Chase. Officer Charlie Thorenson was leading one of the precinct regulars to his desk… Again. Warren Nickel was a small time hood. Regular crimes included mostly thefts and other idiotic crimes, but this time Warren screwed up. He had stuffed his pockets with thirty pounds of Gimmick, the latest drug on the streets. Gimmick has a few nasty side Effects including giving the user a temporary boost in strength and lowing self preservation levels  a dangerous combination. As usual he claimed the drugs weren't his. He had claimed he was holding them for a friend… Every excuse in the book, but they weren't working this time. He was growing more and more agitated as he moved through the booking room. Suddenly the foolish crook took a foolish chance, he shoved officer Thorensen away and stole his gun from its holster.

“Warren… This is a really stupid idea, even for you,” the chief yelled to Warren after he squeezed off a shot. The entire station froze officers backing off keeping more people from entering the lounge even as Warren was barking out orders pointing the gun at the chief “Yo i don’t to time,ya Pigs. Ya, know how this works... Gimmie that slap on the wrist Brooks promised!” Warren demanded in his thick accent  indicating that detective Brooks was apparently the reason they never could land anything solid of Warren till now. “I can’t do that Warren not while you're holding a gun to me. You know how bad this is son...put it down before you hurt someone,” the chief attempted to talk the agitated thug down. Meanwhile both Chase and Artemis were sneaking from desk to desk the objective was to take out the target before the chief got himself shot. Artemis had seen that wild look a thousand times, Warren wasn't going down without taking one of the officers with him. And since the chief was in the line of fire time was running out for Barlow.

With limited options, Chase stepped from her hiding place into the line of fire. “Yo, toots, out the way I ain't kiddin, ya dumb broad. Just cause your a chick doesn't mean I won't shoot ya.“Chase simply focused her gaze on him. “You will drop the gun, or lethal force will be used.” Chase commanded her voice ice cold as she started to walk toward the suspect. “Yo, you got a screw loose? Quit f*****g moving!” Warren fired a shot just missing her feet Chase didn’t miss a step. She kept walking until she was directly in front of the man. The unstable thug shaking at the bold sort of confidence in her movements. Chase simply reached out placing her palm over the barrel of the gun with a calm look. ”Drop the weapon, Warren. What happens next will be your choice.”

Warren shook trying to move the gun from woman’s grip, panicking he screamed out “F**k you, coppa B***h!” The gun registered. The sound echoing around the walls. Crimson blood splashed across the ground as the corpse fell to the ground. Warren was a small time crook and now he would simply be the latest low level thug to die, the gun having backfired in his face. Standing unharmed above the now latest crime statistic. Chase, was unharmed and unmoved as ice cold azure orbs regarded the scene. “Threat eliminated.” She announced seeming to come back to herself as a rather calculated look faded. She was soon helping the chief up to his feet as the closest officers had crouched for cover. “Quite the first day, no?” Chase surmised, the chief only able to raise an eyebrow to the rather abnormal turn of events.

Medics rushed into the room if only to pronounce Warren dead. The medics first actions was actually to check on Officer Chase, but as they approached she raised her hand to reveal no harm had been done. Artemis eyed the event with a look of confusion if only for a moment. After the scene settled down, he immediately called the chief and Officer Chase back into the chief’s office. Just as Chase was about to walk in, Artemis stopped her and asked her to wait for just a minute. As he closed the door calmly behind himself Artemis blurted out, “ok what the f**k is going on here? You assigned me a tick tock?”

‘Tick tock’ was just about a close to a racial slur towards cybernetic beings as you could make, referring to their artificial workings. In terms of military and police service, the ‘tick tock’ phrase compounded to their almost certain failure after a given period of time… Like clockwork or as in the the counting down of a timebomb, like the cybernetically enhanced officer who went rogue in New Detroit less than a year ago and self-destructed in a medical facility killing one-hundred and seven people.

“Are you and the mayor f*****g nuts?” Artemis continued. “You f*****g knew, too.” “Yeah, I knew, so what,” the outburst from Artemis clearly agitated Chief Barlow. “Listen, the mayor tells me this chick is different. He wouldn't say how, but she is.” The chief paused. “No, I don't f*****g know, why he very specifically chose YOU to be her liaison but he did. I’m betting my career it’s because you're the best.” Artemis huffed at the compliment. He never believed any of that hype. He just wanted to do his job. “This is bullshit,” he muttered peering through the glass and blinds at the officer standing directly outside. He eyed her with a cautious candor. She certainly was not unappealing to look at but he knew it was only a matter of time until something went horribly horribly wrong. “The mayor knows everything you been through, Arty,” Barlow reassured Artemis placing his hand on his shoulder, “but he knows if something DOES go wrong… You are the best man to deal with it.”

Meanwhile Chase was listening to the rather heated conversation happening inside the Chief’s office. The men inside unaware that she could easily overhear every word, she was an android but with how loud Artemis was being. She figured anyone could overhear him. Seems the partnership would be a bit difficult  though she was having to talk herself out of barging in and having some words with her new partner. “Tick tock… How would he like it if i started calling him. Flesh bag!” Chase grumbled as she leaned against the wall to the chief’s office, glowering at the floor. Needless to say no one approached the moody android. Especially not the one who took a gunshot to the palm and had not a scratch on her. Growling under her breath Chase continued to listen in on the conversation. It might not be exactly polite but she figured civility left the building awhile ago.

Artemis sat down in the chair he was in when Officer Chase came in, Chief Barlow opened the door and asked Officer Chase to step into his office. Before Chase could close the door, Artemis was on his feet again. Artemis was many things, of those many things a gentleman was one of his higher priorities. She may have been a cyborg, but she was still a lady in Artemis’s eyes. “Please have a seat, Officer Chase,” the Chief gestured to the chair and she sat down, both Artemis and the Chief waiting until she had done so.

“Ok… before we go any further, I just wanted to let you know, Officer Chase, officer Corbyn has been brought up to speed as to, the nature of your assignment. I trust this will not impede your assignment in any way? Officer Corbyn has assured me your situation in no way influences his opinion of your being partners. Do you concur with the situation?” Chase was still glowering a little, but responded like a trained recruit “I see no impediment, with his knowledge,” she replied quickly but muttered in a low tone, “As long as he doesn’t call me tick tock again..” her tone clearly still carrying the insult.

“I was afraid you heard that. My apologies,” Artemis replied with a genuine air of remorse. ”I am well aware of what I am. As I suspect the whole station knows. I never claimed to be anything else,” Chase spoke out, clearing the air so to speak .“Look we are both here to do a job. We don’t have to like each other to do it. If you remain civil then so shall I.” Sighed Chase as she offered an olive branch trying to forget the slight.

Chief Barlow rolled his eyes and sat back in his chair as if cringing away. Artemis abruptly stood up, “Well if that’s how it’s going to be, Sir, I absolutely demand reassignment.”

A shocked look crossed Officer Chase’s face, “I beg your pardon? What have I done now?” Artemis turned to Chase with a scowl that would have stopped the heart of most men, “What did you do wrong? Do you have any concept of what being a partner is? Much less in a situation involving two officers who lay their lives on the line every waking moment? Being a partner means are putting your life and your trust in another person’s hands. It means you HAVE to give s**t if they live or die. What you just said is that we don’t even have to like each other… Well you’re dead f*****g wrong on that one, sister. Go be partners with someone who’ll be all, “ooh and ah! I’m with a cyborg.” Because I couldn’t care less if you’re a f*****g team of trained chimpanzees under that body armor… If you don’t even like me how in the F**K can I trust you with my life?” Chief Barlow sat in abject silence at Artemis. Chase noted that not once did he even seem to consider telling Artemis to calm down. It was quickly apparent to Chase that the Chief was in complete agreement, even before she looked to him and all he could offer was a shrug. Chase silently got to her feet. Her hands balling up into fists before snapping her gaze to Artemis. “Then according to your own unwritten rules, how am I supposed to trust you with my life if as soon as you find out am not human you INSULT me? You… you are so goddamn contradictory. First time you saw me you were all giggly because of my looks. The second I showed I was different you panicked! Yes, shout it to the whole f*****g world I’m not human! It does not mean my life means less. I can care. I can worry. Heck, I can even get angry at you! I offer a f*****g olive branch? How the f**k was I supposed to know that was the wrong move? You think you’re the only one new at this? I wasn’t even alive until 6 months ago, cut me a f*****g break!” Chase screamed. She was pretty sure her voice could probably be heard through the whole station and she was shaking, literally shaking as she held back. Her breathing hard as she glared hard into Artemis’s eyes.

Artemis and the chief were both on their feet. Chief Barlow actually had his hand on his sidearm. Artemis stared Chase down for a moment. “Chief,” Artemis finally spoke, “you seeing this?” The chief, sweat pouring down his face, finally took his eyes off of Chase to glance over at Artemis. “You’re f*****g joking, right? Of course I heard her, the whole squad room heard her.” Artemis turned to the Chief, “Then I have just one question for you,” he inquired with an angry tone. The chief just stared in confusion. “Why doesn’t my new partner have a badge yet?” Artemis asked, finally smiling and casting a quick wink at Chase, “welcome to the force, Officer Chase.” He concluded, extending his open hand to the still obviously furious Officer Chase. Chief Barlow opened his desk drawer and tossed a badge to Officer Chase, “Excellent choice, Arty.” Chase finally blew out a long breath as she deftly caught the badge without looking, thoroughly confused at the two. “I feel like I missed something…” Blinking rapidly as she mentally went back through her outburst. Opening her mouth to speak but closing it a second later. Taking a more calming breath to remove the last vestiges of rage she felt. She glanced at the offered hand, before taking it with a slight hesitation. “ Maybe after I’m all official you can explain what just happened.?” she asked dazed with a touch of pleading.

Artemis shook her hand vigorously, “I had to see… I had to see if you would show emotion. Show passion for your beliefs. I truly apologise for the derogatory term, I can promise you I will NEVER use it again. The other cybers we have worked with in the past… they were all rules, no emotion. If you can’t bring your own beliefs into a crime scene you will NEVER get the full picture. Ok… so this guy killed that guy… but why did he do it? If you can’t place yourself into the shoes of a person accused of a crime, you can’t follow the correct path to the truth. You have to let emotion be your guide sometimes. You have to KNOW when the person is innocent just because your gut tells you so. We don’t just apprehend the guilty, Officer Chase… we protect the innocent as well.” “Welcome to S.A.7.P.D, Officer Chase,” Chief Barlow beamed, “Gotta say you scared the s**t out of me though.” He and Artemis laughed heartily at the admission. “Oh, I’m so sorry, sir.” Chase quickly apologised “I was a bit...Mad.” she admitted  sheepishly.

“Don’t apologise,” Artemis quickly interjected, the Chief shaking his head in agreement, “It’s your humanity that makes me proud to have you as a partner… never let that go, Officer Chase.”  Chase beamed saluting the both of them “Yes Sir!” she chirped out practically bouncing on her feet as it all sunk in. She was official she had a badge and a somewhat quirky partner. She somehow managed to not hug anyone she had a feeling she might crush someone's ribs if she wasn’t careful in her excitement. Artemis continued shaking their heads with a smile. “Don’t... don’t go calling this s**t head, sir, either,” Chief Barlow giggled, “He’s got a big enough head as it is. And besides a polished t**d is still a t**d. Now get the hell out of my office, you two. There has to be someone’s a*s for you’s to kick.” Chase chuckled trying to be polite about it, but couldn’t help her laughter.

Chase and Artemis exited the Chief’s Office and headed out into the real world. As they passed through the squad room, several whistles emanated from a terminal near the elevator doors. Artemis shook his head, “That’s Bleakly. Sorry about him, he’s kind of a perv. But he’s harmless.” Chase eyed Bleakly and then turned to Artemis, “Would you mind if I just stopped by and introduced myself?” Artemis politely gestured that she should go right ahead.

“Well well well… if it isn’t the Robofox? Might I say it’s quite a pleasure to make your acquaintance? If you should happen to… uh… need someone to.. You know relieve some stress with, I’m your man,” Bleakly oozed pervert and creepy all at the same time, obviously pretty sure his charm and machismo could win over any woman. “So… is it true what they say? That you’re… you know… anatomically correct?” he whispered.

Chase smirked, stalking over to his desk deliberately adding a touch more hip to her step as she leaned over a little. Trailing her finger up to lightly grab his tie. “Bleakly ..right? Let me give your a little advice. From me to you.” With that she dragged him to his feet grabbing a handful of his shirt with both hands and slowly lifting him up in a controlled way. “Speak to me, or any woman like you just did and I will personally make sure you don’t have kids. Am I making myself crystal clear?” She asked calmly with a slight hint of smile that somehow made it more unnerving. “Y..yes..” Bleakly  answered several shades paler. “Yes, what, Bleakly?” She asked tightening her grip on the man a little. “Yes Ma’am!” Spluttered Bleakly. Chase smirked and dropped him, the man hitting the floor and clambering away. Chase spun on her heel walking back to her partner with a wicked smile on her face. “What?.. I introduced myself” she smirked up at Artemis. Practically glowing with pride. Artemis high fived his partner, and the pair exited the squad room.
