It Was Always You

It Was Always You

A Poem by Leah
"

I wrote this from a GUY'S point of view. I went through a phase... Inspiration: Sara; song by: Love Arcade. I wrote it to the melody of that song. Written: Feb. 21st 2007 "A Snow Day"

"

Please understand that the only thing

That matters.

Is holding you again.

For the first time-

I see you smile at me

And I think, God how can that be?

But I know that it’s not true.

I mean, how could you ever do-

I love-

For the very first time.

I can’t-

Ignore. I love you more…

Than he does.

Every situation in my mind.

Never turned out like it did today.

Never thought I’d hear myself say,

I don’t love you.

In your heart, you know it’s not

...true.

I love-

For the very last time.

I will-

NOT ignore that I will always love-

You more.

Than anyone.

Ever-

I never. Meant it. It wasn’t true.

The only one I’ve ever loved-

Always and forever…

You.

I really really love this poem, and not just because I am in love with love... I thought that it was a true reconition of what all people don't always say.... aloud.

hats off
Bella =)
