Brilliant poem! Absolutely stunning, Legolas! I love the soft, caring tone of the persona throughout the poem, talking about the harsh and cruel reality. The contrast in it really creates a vibrant feeling. It is truly one of the best poems you could write about another person. The third stanza, which talks about praying for the other person, is my favourite. Such a kind and divine thing to do, mildly stating the fact that the persona is in the habit of praying(and probably loves god too). Great and powerful write! Keep writing!

Like you. Thank you for your beautiful words,
I agree. This is an uplifting piece, to be read by someone going through a difficult phase in life to keep on fighting for a better end. The scars will heal and hopefully, fade. The message is clear and is simple, you will mend and be whole again, "with time". Beautifully written, keep it up!
What can I say? Emotional, deep, dark, chilling, vivid, haunting, memorable, uplifting, spectacular, amazing, hopeful. Ways to describe the poem almost contradict themselves. Reading it, it took my breath away. It seems impossible but it manages to be all those things at once. The lines were enchanting, mesmerizing, drawing you into the story. It us beautifully written, every word picked with precision and care. You obviously put a lot of thought into the poem. I love it, the last line sealing the end with a promise of hope to come. Once again, wonderful job.
I love writing haikus.
