Ghosts of Lovers

Within fair Verona

     Our scene lives eternal.

These two star-crossed lovers

     Embrace the ethereal.

'Tis true it's been spoken

There is no love like death

Be it through pierced bosom

     Or within tainted breath.

Though the East do giveth

Light, the warmth of the sun,

This darkness stabs westward

     With poisonous passion.

Thus, given to remorse

     For their loss and regret

Stands Romeo, a specter,

     With the ghost of Juliet.

This is breathtakingly beautiful...what a wonderful homage to Shakespeare. It literally gave me chills. Brilliant!
