A thought-provoking Haiku. The alliteration is superb in such few words. The expression is similar to a domino effect, each being a derivative of the other (Fable, Legend, Myth) or a hierarchy depending on the situation and/or recipient. This may sound strange but I almost feel these three are alive dressed in some knightly garb. Nevertheless, enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.
Myth has made many a miracle indeed. But most myths have some basis in fact. I used to watch a show called Myth Busters where they exposed myths as false or proved them to be at least possible. I like the alliteration in this piece.
Each line presents a deepening degree of antiquity. Each key figure seems to push the confines of reality a little further with myth being the furthest from man. So we have the leap of faith so to speak here it seams, the test of what existence is, and what forces play upon men the most. Well done, and well executed.
I love the way your mind works, Legion, and it is always a pleasure to read your work.
There is an absolutism to this piece that touched me. "Myth made miracles"- yes, it did, and they endured. I think that's what you are trying to get at here... the enduring vs the fleeting vs the ephemeral, perhaps.
I write about various topics. Mostly I write poetry/songs. I took my screen name from a concept album/epic poem I wrote years ago titled "Legion's Legacy: Tales of the Damned" which was inspired by .. more..
