Something short that hit me a few minutes ago. May add more later.

God Made Man

 

 

God made man,

An image unto Itself,

To procreate

And proliferate

Within Its kingdom.

 

Man made god,

An image unlike himself,

To barter

And bargain

For buying his kingdom.

You've got that right Legion!

We humans barter, steal and sell ourselves (many times to the devil) to gratify our earthly desires.
God on the other hand, asked nothing of us other than to go and multiply and follow his commands.
Then he created Adam and Eve...and look what happened!

Then he got ticked off and created the big flood...and guess what...we still didn't learn a thing.
Now we are worried about Armeggedon...when will mankind ever learn!!!!

Loved this...short...and to the point. Wouldn't change a thing!

Interesting. I'm afraid I sort of missed the point though. Are you saying that God made us like he wanted or we made God like we wanted? I see things from both sides because I am agnostic and I think there may be a god, but I believe there probably is not. So... I am open to both sides.

i like that you pointed out that, in many pertained ways many humans have creates god and built their images of him to be something they're not, but a better, honourable likeness of themselves.

Short but meaningful. I believe in God but not the man made version which attributes God with human desires.
