Something fun I was goofing around with. But I hope if I ever become famous for my writing that people don't consider this the pinnacle of my work. LOL
This is cute...a write from a love struck illiterate guy. I had a smile on my face at the end of the write, and you know...it says a lot....its not the words, well, it is the words, but its also how they are portrayed.
I lub it!
Funny and a sidways look at poetry ... ahemm... poultry. This was a fun read. And when you are famous you might just be famous for you sidways looks at things. I seem to remember a poet being famous for an Ode to a Louse. :)
Being from East Tennessee and all...maybe I should be a bit concerned that I read this thing through like it was my native tongue! Seriously. We'uns got dat kina talk don herya. Love it...it is the essence of what we do. Capturing the flavor of humanity in a snapshot that others might be able to understand and enjoy.
Nice.

Jim,
I just fell in love with this poem. Its so wonderfully written. You've caught the flavor and sense of most efforts behind writing poetry, and had a bit of fun with it. I've had to share it with some other writers I converse with, I know they'll love it too. I'll have to read up more on your stuff, to see if you're as good a writer as you seem to be. This may not be the pinnacle of your efforts but it's well on its way. I'm going to have to copy and paste it to a few of my e-mail friends.

Hahaha, that's adorable. When I first started reading I was like, "he can't be serious, look at all the spelling errors" 'n stuff. But now I realize that it was done that way intentionally, and it's really cute. Is it supposed to be like an accent?
I write about various topics. Mostly I write poetry/songs. I took my screen name from a concept album/epic poem I wrote years ago titled "Legion's Legacy: Tales of the Damned" which was inspired by .. more..
