It Is Said….

Just a thought.

It is said that time marches on. This is an untruth.

It slithers like the serpent whispering of forbidden treats and tempting us with moments materialized all the while winding its way, maliciously, amongst our memories. Moments ending with such abruptness and finality that we find them leaving the bitterest of tastes, both longing and regret, upon our palettes.
