Birth of the Jupiter Star

Birth of the Jupiter Star

A Poem by Legion
"

A reflection on the moment of a birth.

"

Birth of the Jupiter Star

A quarter turned back

To the nova

Of conception

When a mark

Birthed hope,

Written with wonderous conviction.

Grace defined

The moment

Painted with pristine precision

As warmth

Ensued with the faith

Of love's perfection.

I think this is great. "As warmth Ensued with the faith Of love's perfection" was a beautiful line. It really made me feel as if I were seeing heat and light blossoming out. A wonderful poem!

After reading your poem, and then the comments, I was struck by what Rain said. Jupiter conceived in silence....that feeling bodes well, especially with the lines: Grace defined The moment

rang strange with me because i just read galileo and his observation of jupiter's moons...so when i read the title, i though of the star of jupiter...like one of its moons. i dont know if that's what you meant or not but i still liked it

This one is interesting. I'm trying to see the connection of Jupiter to the rest of your poem... But oh, I am in love with your descriptions!

Your writing is exquisite.

I love a poem that makes me think.

This was definitely a really unique poem. I have never thought that the "Jupiter Star" could refer to "love's perfection"... well, whatever that is; I wouldn't know. But this is a really beautiful poem in my opinion. The structure was just as great because the rhyming (whether intentional or not) was really catchy... Maybe that's just the way I read it, but it was really cool! ^^
