ReMemories

A Poem by Legion
"

A poem from a long time ago about the past.

"

ReMemories

A dangerous sigh
And intoxication increases.
The walls crumble
(To memories).

Fading black
Turns to day
And I sit
Upon an open porch,
Listening to
My grandmother singing.
How sweet the birds call.

The wine flows freely.

Gathering sight
Of foreign lands,
I sway
With the tip
Of the tree
As my mother screams below.
How the angels dance on clouds.

The music, so depressing, dances in these visions.

So disturbing,
I cannot remember
Thoughts of my father
Except those
That create anger
Or frustration.
How strange, this dream.

The past feels like choking cigarette smoke.

There I stand,
Next to you,
In a tarnished,
Faded picture
Of a forgotten day,
But I remember the picture.
How empty this room seems
(Without you).

I am falling in stupor.
I am falling home.

How sad - falling into home and the melancholy of its music. A dream in a-minor and no resolution to follow the suspended chord ...this is how it felt to me.

very emotional, and very vivid
.
Still I am new though to this.

But, I get a sense and a feeling of what not should have been.
