A Poem by Legion
"

For my grandson. This had not been posted before. It is also a bit of a play off of my concept album "Legion's Legacy (Tales of the Damned)".

"

For Toby

(born 07July06)

I once contained a million mad souls clambering for control
And somehow I felt defeated as if I had lost my soul
But the defining moment was mercifully to come
As clarity pierced the gloom with the birth of my grandson.

Firstly, thanks for your read.
So wonderful you went from the panorama of feeling
to the microscopic object of it all.
I have an 18 m/o God-daughter I love and would
give both kidneys to gladly. And she has altered my vision
in many ways.
Excellent poem.
