Love

Love

by Leggolas

Its crimson thorn drips agony
Its breathless sigh seeps ecstasy
Desire paves its destiny

Potency? Its vice.

... ah ... touchet! ... brilliantly said ... what a verse! ... the first and last lines are especially magical and potent ... you should be proud of this one ... for it's almost impossible to do justice to a title like "love" ... simply because of the sheer number of times it's been written about ... but you've succeeded with flying colours ... and in such few words ... you seem to be a master of brevity ... and of course ... mesmerizing poetry ... :) ...

not so sure about that last line, unless you're talking about passion; because passion that demands anything beyond the moment is definitely vice, and surely does carve its own destiny

I had to read it twice to agree with you leggolas, nice name. Love is certainly potent, its our vice and it gets tighter through time, strangling us, but what can ya do?

Smiling at you

Tai
