A unique format made this fun to read.....the stanzas in red, to me, are like a narrator speaking his piece, and then his voice fades away in time for the vignettes of dialogue.
I can easily see this acted out on a stage with spot lighting alternating between Jane & John Doe and the narrator, who is off to the side.
A wonderfully insightful write about the cycles of love and human relationships.
It was wonderfully written piece, although I felt in all honesty that the Jane and John Doe thing was a little bit of an annoyance..? That may not be the word I'm looking for, but all in all it was a beautifully written insightful piece.
well dear ,i read this though i am not for romantic reading much ,the subject itself i great ,is there ever true love ,i think there is ,but thats not the point, i read your write about 7 times ,i can say this its a little affected ,complex,,i always thought dear ,and try to be as honest as i can as you asked me ,poetry, literature ,is always so easy ,you dont read it ,you feel it ,it goes right into your heart and brains,i am sure you took hard work to write this ,still to experienced writer or reviewer ,i think ,i stress on this ,this falls short of this end ,i just want to be frank with a very dear friend ,as far as i can tell out of my sole judgement ,and maybe i am wrong ,poetry and any literature should be very smoothly going ,and i stop here ,i took too much pain to review it time and time again to give you my true mind about it ,i wish you all the best dear friend
This is an excellent poem, very nicely done. It definately does come close to real life expectations and reality. How in the beginning of a relationship your filled with that euphoria and then as time goes on thats when your really tested. Very good.
A wonderful, thought provoking piece...does True Love Die? I don't think so...the flame may fade, but it never flickers out.
A well conceived piece, that hits the reader where it was supposed to.
This is a beautiful, poignant write, that's well laid out and constructed.
Bravo
Love is a very mysterious and strange thing. No one knows exactly why love dissapears. How do you actually know if you really love them when in the next instant they say they never loved you at all. I like how you put Jane doe and John doe as the unknown and didn't put actual names, it makes the poem more real. I think that love does not actually fade if it's true Love but what is true and what is not. Reality is reality as unsure as it is we still live through it.
Great write here legacy you did a very good job with this write.
