Slip away

Slip away

A Poem by Laymeto.rest
"

Personal

"
Laying face down, melting into the fibers
This herb has my body subdued
System powers down, override complete
Physically hacked, mind overload

Brain pinched migraine
Muscles relaxed, but stiff they lay
Thoughts leak into my veins
On the verge of over heating

REM came knocking
No one came to the door
Denial of pre-coded data
Sleep paralysis itching all over me

The white noise from the silent state,
Buzzing, vibrating, seepage
Low hissing, rattling echos back and fourth
My mind and body can't seem to get along

I won't give in or compromise
Neuro activity rising, pushing
Thrust outwards and spiral upwards
Fully disconnected and there lies my body

Twisted, painless, weightless
An amplifying entity, a leaf in the wind

for 'a bit of non-sense' it resonates your thoughts very well
the lines 'REM came knocking No one came to the door' are not only imaginative but original in thought perhaps and well expressed
good on you
