Castaway

Castaway

A Poem by Laymeto.rest
"

Eye of the storm

"
To sink or swim,
I'm wading with anchored arms
As my hope grows dim,
I see land or the seas charms

The closer I push,
The more the tide slips away
Feelings overcrowd into an ambush,
At my last breath, I'll never pray.

This wave was the last,
Crashed down and fell faster
Hit me like a cannons blast,
This was it, my final disaster

Only to land upon the clouds,
With the sea now below me
I no longer see their shrouds,
And I will never drown in the sea
