This is a most unique and unusual piece, an original, which could be part of a film, it kind of reminds me of a wonderful scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I think that your execution of this original piece is excellent, powerful and humorous while inviting great sympathy for this pathetic being, all in all, this have great style and imagination, I thoroughly enjoyed :) Very well done!

just as the title renders this work...I assume that you could make this even more...an edit to the configuration of this write...in lyrical verse...seems more an alternative display here with your style...can I show you what I mean:
I'm odd (repeat x 4)
I live down south, make noises with my mouth
people stand around and listen to the sound
I don't get out, the walls are my friends
they shout out my name the fun never ends
It rains in the attic my knees are bees
they built me an ego with an altar made of cheese
I've got no friends just a spotty pink ferret
who sings Brittney Spears in exchange for hash pellets?
I've an onion for an eye but it never ever cries
I hunt for ships in a green gorilla sky
I'm scared of my TV; I think it wants to eat me
and when I fall asleep I dream that I'm awake
I've a monk for a tooth; it’s hard to be quiet
I stole my youth from a cop in a riot
I read as I walk, I mumble when I talk
I steal sideways glances from a looking glass store
I'm odd (repeat x 8)
I make noises with my mouth, I live down south
and people stand around and listen to the sound
It rains in the attic, my knees are bees
they built me ego with an altar made of cheese
I'm odd (repeat x 4)
L. Are you sure you’re not a decedent of Edward Lear? Lol, this was very humorous and I for one enjoyed it with a Cheshire grin. ;-)

As for your repeated ending stanza (15 not 14), you will get no argument out of me on that. :)

Herding cattle is an honorable job as well. My Dad used to work on a farm, my sister hoped to be a veterinarian growing up and now she runs a farm all on her own.
Truly with songs like, "What Did The Fox Say" and others like it - you will fit right into excellence. Make a Youtube video and I will certainly mark LIKE on this unusual and curious offering. Take care ...

What a surreal, invigorating experience to hear this! It is like walking inside another's subconscious. It seems very intimate, almost too close to that subconsciousness for either's comfort. Truly a unique and exquisitely enigmatic piece. Thank you for sharing.

This is heavily reminiscent of the psychedelic music from the 60's in its content and flow. The acapella version is interesting, but I'd actually like to hear this with the classic 60's "trippy" music that it really calls for.

This was thoroughly entertaining. The odds also get into a nice rhythmic pattern that is so soothing. I could see this a number in a musical, and I can also see this a hit at a poetry slam. Aside from the audio though you had some really great lines in this. Well done. Pryde brought me here. Glad she did.
