the feminist - a provocation

the feminist - a provocation

the feminist - a provocation

Is the feminist always a woman

or can it be a man?

Does the real feminist

feel free to dress in pink

to give me an obvious wink

come over to me and say

I want you - in my own way.

Or does she expect me

to check her out and see

the princess and the queen

best woman I've ever seen

and court her like in the old days

but she still wants it her ways?

Only I get to do the dishes

and fulfill even more of her wishes?

Is the feminist an idealist

or a realist?

Is the feminist a warrior in skirts

or could we make love, not war?

Might we wear each others shirts

and admire this big twinkling star?

Is the feminist a romantic

or totally down to earth?

Does she like sex to be tantric?

Does she want to give birth?

What about her body - does the like it at all?

Or hate that she's not thinner, fitter, big breasted and tall?

And finally, what about her soul

- is it feminist mostly, or human and whole?

This may not be a contradiction,

I just want to create some friction!

I don't expect standing ovations

for these feminist provocations.
