STRICTLY BALLROOM

STRICTLY BALLROOM

A Poem by LeeLee Ryder
"

A Baz Luhrmann 1992 romantic comedy film .. A must see if you're a fan of his. inspired by M.E.Lyle review of Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps

"
Like M.E.Lyle says, this film is a sleeper
And he & I unanimously agree it's a keeper
Following the footsteps of our leading man Scott
Lots of dance, I loved it a lot

Fran was a wallflower who wanted to dance
Never was noticed until she yelled, give me a chance
Both she & Scott dreamed of loosening strictly ballroom's grip
So they practice non federated steps and let it rip

Don't wanna spoil the plot so I'll think I"ll quit
There's loads of fun in this Australian indie bit
So check it out if you already have not
I guarantee you it will hit the spot ...

Nice review. I'll give it a try if I see it on Netflix streaming.

I loved it. The first line cracked me up. I've never made it on the pages of a poem before. How you managed to come up with the rhyme scheme I'll never know.
Thanks again, I truely did love it. Perhaps I should counter. I'll see what I can do.
M.E.
