Perhaps we'll get a clue someday

PERHAPS, PERHAPS, PERHAPS

Perhaps our souls will plant seeds to cover the barren wasteland
Perhaps discord will lead us out of our heads and insight revolution
Perhaps abundance will lift us to a level where giving is a given

Perhaps ideals will give us something to live up to with pride
Perhaps love will conquer the hate that permeates the intolerant
Perhaps imagination will give us the strength & fortitude to dream

Perhaps logic will align our lives and ignorance will be non and void
Perhaps the powerful will finally get a clue and be for the people
Perhaps peace will reign and suffering will disappear all together

Perhaps we will dwindle to nothingness and become insignificant factors of life's history. I hope not. It's funny, but no matter what, we're always left wondering , what if. I enjoyed this. I also loved the song. It was featured near the end of an Austrailian made movie called Strickly Ballroom. It's one of those sleeper movies nobody ever watched...except me.
