WHAT DID YOU SAY?

WHAT DID YOU SAY?

A Poem by LeeLee Ryder
"

wrote in april early 90's... inspired by the cab dispatcher at work... what the hell did he say??

"
What did you say?
I hear you talking but
I can't understand what you said
The words are jumbled
Please, can I have a cookie?
Is that a bobcat or just a lazy tongue
Or a new way of speakin' ?
Please enunciate, e-nun-ci-ate
and don't eat your words
Could you say it more clearly
Try just a little harder but don't bite your tongue
I need some clarification so I'll know
What it is, that you mean
Speak up ~~ I can't hear you
What? What did you say?
Could you repeat, repeat ...
Would you say it again slowly
DUI, what did you say?
CIA, SPCA, NCAAP, LOL, WTF, WSF, WSM,
OH me oh my,, I'm a fool for ...
A*****e? I am not.. I just can't grasp
Your words of wisdom are mumbled in a puddle ...
What did you say?

This reminds me of some of the younger crowd that comments on my stuff from another site. They do all that shorthand crap and I have to look it up to figure out they respected it or something. I can barely hear the guy on the train when he talks over the speakers too. It sounds like he talking into a metal pale.

I found this quite funny... some people feel they need to use fancy words to seem important when they probably don't even understand themselves.
