A FINE MISTA Poem by LeeLee Ryderinspired by a phrase on pg 172 of Azar Nafisi's Reading Lolita in Tehran "... and words literally rose up in the air & descended upon us like a fine mist, touching all five senses." A FINE MIST Words flood our minds with wonder & consequence As we breathe in resonance & a fine mist of beauty Beating with our heartbeats, traveling at the speed of light And rising up into weightlessness & rocketing into the air Taking our mind's eye on the never ending journey of illumination
