When U live N of LA, in a snow covered mtn winterland ...The sunbeaten burbites come to play and take back some snow...& leave something behind.. I've learned to stay put ...

 THE SNOW BUNNIES ARE COMING X2

Yes, it's that time of year for the snow to fall

The burbites come to freeze, let loose and have a ball

Sliding down hillsides, snowball fight delight

Walking on highways, giving drivers a fright

Yes, everyone should be able to play in the snow

Bundle up and scurry where the frosty winds blow 

Collecting snow in carloads, have some Christmas cheer

Remember watch the road, so cars don't have to veer

Yes, this winter wonderland , a sight you get for free

The rosy cheeks and snow peaks, a peaceful place to be

The landscape and the roads cluttered with their debris

Remember this is nature, take your trash, let the summit be

Yes, snow is wonderful .. it cloisters us inside

Hope you don't take offense, just remember to abide

Crystal covered trees, oh lovely silken skies

Enjoy the festive snowflakes, thank God for snowmelt pies

hEh, Well done , i quite enjoyed reading this :)
"Walking on highways, giving drivers a fright" this line evokes many memories and images, you speak truth. I like this poem , and winter is a great time of year is it not? such a time to enjoy what nature has to offer us. a world completely seperate from any other. :)
