KITCHENETTE

KITCHENETTE THIS

I sleepwalk into the kitchenette and what do I see

The plates dancing jovially into the moonlit sea

I sleepwalk into the kitchenette and what do I find

The arms of my lover, wrapped up in a bind

I sleepwalk into the kitchenette and what do I hear

The birds & the trees tanked up on some off brand lite beer

I sleepwalk into the kitchenette and what do I cut

My mind in half while my eyes open wide shut

I sleepwalk into the kitchenette and what do I say

Get out of my head, you owe me a day

I wake up in the A.M. and what do I see

My kitchenette hanging over me, saying-just let me be me
