What Am I Again?

What Am I Again?

A Poem by LeeAnne Peytonn

I believe there is a God.

Why else would life continuously

scatter within the stars.

I also believe that he made mistakes.

Not himself making the mistakes,

But he made the ability for others to.

I make mistakes everyday-

I am told about them in every way.

Yes, I know I didn’t do the dishes.

I’m sorry I make incoherent wishes.

Yes, I know the clothes need to be dried

So, I’ll just pretend I haven’t cried.

I apologize for the un-penciled work.

I’ll remember next time that I have no worth.

Just nag and nag, it’ll be fine.

I’ll forget it all, just like last time.

I see more potential, but it was good.
